Located just two kilometers from Chianciano (renown for its spas and thermal baths) and 6 kilometers from Montepulciano, in the heart of the Valdichiana valley, Villa Monticchiello B&B is the perfect retreat to live a relaxing discovery of Tuscany fully immersed in its unique countryside.

From the patio two little paths take you to the private fishing pond and to the private scenic swimming pool.

The path to the swimming pool is shaded by many hazelnut trees that offer a scented repair from the sun during Summer time. The large swimming pool commands unique views of the Valdichiana valley from atop a hill covered with 25 hectares of olive groves and vineyards. From the cotto-bordered pool one's eyes can gradually leave the cool waters and gaze at the infinite horizon of waving hills. If the water becomes too tiresome, comfortable sunbeds and a cozy indoor relax room are available at few steps from the pool.

The land around Villa Monticchiello B&B offers many activities for those loving mountain biking, hiking, or simply strolling among the many secular olive trees. The owners have free bikes for guest use. Right in front of the villa is a small vegetable garden for guest use. The owners take particular pride in having adopted organic agricoltural practices to cultivate their land. Their truly Tuscan olive oil has been subject of many a praise, and they are happy to share this genuine product with their guests.

Interiors

 Villa Monticchiello B&B also is a self-catering villa composed of four independent apartments, so its guests can afford a great deal of privacy while sharing the 120 sqm. (1080 sqf.) of common living space.

Located on the ground floor, this large space includes a professional kitchen, a fireplace with tea and coffee tables, a large lounge room, and a formal dining room. Two apartments have their own fully equipped kitchen, and all have full bathroom, and independent access.The furniture is a composition of traditional Tuscan treasures from the past.

Comfortable contemporary pieces seamlessly share the space with beautiful and functional restored armoirs, tables, and armchairs, to confer to the ambient a taste of reserved luxury.
Just outside the ground floor dining room is a lovely shaded patio with tables and a large barbeque where you can enjoy scenic breakfasts and romantic dinners.
