Villa San Miniato is an exclusive and luxury Tuscan Villa that was built by the Medici Family at the end of the XV Century. History lovers will be pleased to look at the stone testifying that in 1595 Jacopo de Medici ordered to enlarge the Villa. The Ministry of the Cultural Assets of Italy has declared this Villa “a building of particularly important interest”.

After a carefully restoration process this historical building has turned into a charming and luxury Villa of 450sqm., tastefully decorated with great attention to detail, and preserving all the enchantment of its noble past. The Villa is furnished with original and unique antique pieces, and with all comforts of the modern life: internet wifi, hi-fi, sat TV, air conditioning, heating.

This charming Tuscan Villa is located in one of the most wonderful areas of Tuscany, close to the medieval town of San Miniato, a beautiful place famous for its history, for the ancient architecture as well as for the white truffle, a real “jewel” in the world of gastronomy.

The Villa has wonderful breath-taking views of the Tuscan countryside of the surroundings with the typical olive groves, and the panorama of the small villages and towns of the area.

From the garden of the Villa it is possible to reach easily an age-old trail to get to a very special spot from which it is possible to enjoy a panoramic view over the Voghera Valley.

The large swimming  pool is located in the wonderful garden, 600m. from the Villa, and it is the perfect place for the relaxing moments. This area is equipped of toilets, dressing room , tables, chairs and deckchairs. The garden has 7.000sqm and it is a real oasis of peace and silence. Guests will be able to hire bicycles, and to enjoy unforgettable horse riding from the riding center close to the Villa.

This Villa in San Miniato is conveniently located close to Florence, as it is just at 40km distance.

Interiors

The historical coat of arms of the Medici Family will welcome the guests from the top of the main door which opens the great hall with a wonderful wooden ceiling and the walls drawn with flowers. In the hall there is a large stone fireplace, the floor of the room is made of cotto and the original doors have their frames made of serena stone.

In the large table up to 12 people guests will be able to enjoy the typical and delicious Tuscan gastronomy that the chef of the Villa will cook, upon request.

At the same floor there is a large and fully equipped kitchen. The hall leads to the sitting room, where we find the sat TV and a reading area. From there it is possible to get out to a terrace where it is possible to have breakfast or enjoy relaxing moments with the family or friends during the warm summer nights.

A beautiful staircase takes to the first floor of the Villa. The first room we find is a charming sitting room that was originally a granary and that now has been furnished with a big and comfortable sofa, armchairs, and a warm parquet floor.

In the first floor there are also the 5 bedrooms of the Villa, all of them tastefully and individually decorated. All the rooms are double except one of them connecting to another single room. The 5 bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms. All the rooms are equipped with internet wifi, telephone, safety-box and air conditioning.
 
The Villa is up to 11 people, but for larger groups it is possible to add 5 extra single beds for additional guests without affecting the management of the entire space and the comfort of the whole group.

If the service of the current contract is interrupted through Force Majeure, this obligation shall be postponed for the time and duration that is deemed justifiable.

- Applicable jurisdiction

Both parties, expressly waiving their own jurisdiction, if possible, submit their case to the Courts and Tribunals of Barcelona. The applicable Law shall be that of the Spanish Legal System.
