Surrounded by one of the most celebrated landscapes, 18th century Villa Torrita is set on a hill offering commanding views of the entire valley and the rolling hills beyond.

The external architecture of this Tuscan villa reveals the essence of Tuscany and the simple but practical lifestyle of past-centuries in rural Tuscany. The sandstone walls of Villa Torrita have a warm glow in the bright sun whilst keeping inside pleasant and cool. 

The villa has large open lawns leading down to the private swimming pool, perfectly positioned for panoramic views of the Valdorcia.

A covered, furnished terrace right by the property is an ideal spot for al fresco meals or an evening glass of wine watching a spectacular sunset.

Interior

The perhaps rather austere exteriors contrast with the ample spaces and warm ambience guests are immediately greeted with on entering the villa. 

The ground floor has direct access to the garden on three sides of the villa. The large, brick-vaulted living room features a large dining table, two comfortable sofas and an attractive fireplace. This room leads onto the sunny and spacious fully-equipped kitchen with brick oven and garden access. You will find everything you need here for convenient self-catering.
The cotto floors, beamed ceilings and vaulted halls frame each living space and recreate the peace of the external natural environment. A hallway leads to the ground floor bedroom with two full size beds and en suite bathroom with shower.

The first floor houses three more bedrooms. One is a twin bedroom with en suite shower room. The second is a double bedroom with a very large en suite bathroom complete with both a bathtub and a spacious separate shower cubicle. The third room is again a double bedroom with en suite bathroom. Eight people in total can be accommodated in Villa Torrita.

Both bedroom and bathroom linen are provided and final cleaning and utilities are included in the rates.
