Exterior

Villa Poliziana boasts an absolutely perfect position, surrounded by rolling hills covered in vineyards and olive groves as far as the eye can see- the owners of the property in fact produce their own excellent wine and olive oil. Wonderful views from the villa also encompass distant farmhouses, the red rooftops of Cortona and Mount Amiata on the horizon.

Ascending the private driveway the villa suddenly rises splendid with its characteristic terracotta and sunny yellow the brick tower lording over the gardens.

The gardens themselves are exquisite. The panoramic swimming pool with hydromassage feature sits a short distance from the main house and is surrounded by an array of fruits and flora- rose bushes, bougainvillea, lemon, plum, fig and apple trees and a herb and vegetable garden. There is also a lovely shaded pergola ideal for al fresco dining.

Interior

The villa has undergone a painstaking renovation process whereby the original aspect of the villa and all its charm have been carefully restored. Cotto floors, fine fabrics and traditional Tuscan antique furniture embellish every corner to establish a tasteful, comfortable and elegant atmosphere to enjoy in the company of friends and family.

The entire villa is equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV, DVD player and high-speed Internet connection so, despite its traditional appearance it is not lacking in modern amenities.

The entrance opens up onto a large hallway which leads to the large living room with antique fireplace and dining table. On this floor there are also two suites with private bathrooms with Jacuzzi shower or bathtub. Each suite also features a private living room with garden access. The reading room, a peaceful spot for quiet moments to yourself also has direct access to the outdoor patio. The family kitchen is fully equipped with all you need for self-catering.

The first floor is devoted to one very large suite with an ensuite bathroom with Jacuzzi, an especially spacious living room and two panoramic terraces. All the suites have been decorated with great attention to detail.
