Exteriors
Villa Valpoliziana overlooks the never ending Tuscan landscape between Montepulciano and Cortona, with wonderful views over the Umbrian territory and the Trasimeno lake. The hills all around the villa are covered with vineyards and olive groves. The owners at the villa are producers of excellent wine and oil that you will be able to enjoy altogether with organic produce for your daily cooking. The view extends over the countryside dotted with ancient farmhouses, cypress tree flocks, passing the red roofs of the town of Cortona until the eye meets the wonderful line of Mount Amiata in the distance.
The private way leading to Villa Valpoliziana is lined with cypress trees. The villa rises with its characteristic terracotta and yellow colors, splendid in the morning sunlight and enjoying the sparkle coming from the nearby lake. The brick tower romantically overlooks the valley and the splendid garden surrounding the villa. The garden is rich with rose bushes, bougainvillea, lemon trees, all sorts of fruit-trees for you to pick and a herb garden. The scents enter the villa through the French windows embellished with wrought iron works. The panoramic swimming pool with hydromassage sits amidst all this and features a shaded gazebo for “alfresco” dining.
Interiors
The renovation process of the villa was carried out with painstaking accuracy to restore the original aspect of the villa and its splendid charm. Cotto floors, fine fabrics and antique furniture from the Tuscan tradition embellish all environments with taste and comfortable spaces to enjoy in company of your loved ones.
The entrance opens up on the reception of the villa which leads to the large living room with antique fireplace and dining table. On this floor there also are two suites with private bathroom with Jacuzzi shower or bathtub. Each suite also features a private living room with garden access. The reading room accesses the outdoor patio. The cozy kitchen is fully equipped with all the amenities for a comfortable vacation.
The first floor is a very large suite with ensuite bathroom with Jacuzzi, a very large living room and two large panoramic terraces. All suites are enriched with great attention to the detail, rich fabrics and wonderful views.
The entire villa is equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV, DVD player and high-speed Internet connection.
