Exteriors
A long tree-lined drive, carefully shaped, leads to the ancient complex of Vagliagli Hamlet. The hamlet originated during the Ninth century and has been maintained very loyal to the original for more than a thousand years. A peaceful haven set amidst vineyards and olive trees, extending over more than 500 hectares of Tuscany that dates back to the year 1200.
The exterior and interior of the other buildings, which were used for farm-work, still suggest the ancient flavor of agricultural life. During the most recent renovations some rooms in the villa have been masterfully decorated with frescoes of floral design in the style of the 7th and 8th centuries.
The Hamlet is a traditional and distinguishing Tuscan estate overlooking the famous city of Siena which is located a short distance away.
