Il Poggio is surrounded by the beautiful Tuscan countryside with infinite gradations of color. The farmhouse is located on a hilltop and has wonderful views of the gently rolling hills of the pristine green countryside and vast olive groves and vineyards.
From the panoramic swimming pool, guests can relax and admire a wonderful panorama with the towers of San Gimignano in the background.
At walking distance from the property there is a little restaurant and a little mini market where it is possible to buy food, water and wine.
Certaldo and San Gimignano are few km far away from the Villa while Florence, Volterra, Siena and Pisa are all within one hour driving distance.
Interiors
The property is divided into 4 comfortable and charming apartments and one country house all of them restored with its original materials such in order to preserve the charm of this wonderful place. Each apartment has been carefully renovated and furnished with original Tuscan furniture in combination with all modern conveniences.
At il Poggio there is WiFi and it is free for the guests with their own laptop. Should any guest like to rent a laptop, the rate is Eur 50 x week.
All the apartments of this Tuscan Villa have breathtaking views of the beautiful countryside and air conditioning.
