Exteriors

This wonderful Tuscan villa was built in the 19th century and is a formal country house of 600 sqm., erect at the center of an extremely spacious garden which hosts a large panoramic infinity swimming pool commanding views over the neverending Chianti landscape.

The driveway descends toward the shaded parking spots. Few steps further is the courtyard of Villa dei Barberi embellished by an original Tuscan well in between the main villa and the guest house.

Walking past the main villa one enters the wide garden area, a special place to contemplate the Chianti vineyards under the shaded gazebo.

Here "alfresco" meals are a treat to your senses. This location is also wonderful for weddings.  The panoramic swimming is just fex steps below the villa, right past the wellness cottage. In the evening, this is the place where to enjoy magic violet sunsets reflect on the still waters of the infinity pool.

Villa dei Barberi is located exactly half way between Siena and Florence, in the heart of the wonderful Chianti territory, in Central Tuscany, so famous for its celebrated wine. This Tuscan villa is easily reached by car through the freeway Florence - Siena. Public transportation is readily accessible (1 hour from Siena or from Florence).

Set at walking distance to town, this villa enjoyes the proximity to a lovely medieval village. The nearest international airports are located in Florence and Pisa.

Interiors

The ground floor includes one big fully equipped modern kitchens, the wine cellar, the laundry area, and a beautiful double lounge with two large dining tables. Both lounges have elegant and comfortable sofas and armchairs.

The garden terrace offers a large table for 12 people and another table can be added to accommodate up to 20 people. Upon request, a larger antique table for 16 to 18 people can be added to accommodate all guests.

The ground floor also features an elegant reading room with fireplace perfect for relaxing, listening to music or reading a book from the furbished international library. This red room also includes one double twin bedded bedroom (can become double on request) with private bathroom with shower.

Additionally, on the ground floor is located a double twin bedroom that can be turned into a king-size bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower.

On the first floor are located five large additional bedrooms with private bathrooms and amazing views. Four bedrooms have their own fireplace.

Each bedroom on the first floor of the villa is named after a local fruit or flower. Here is a brief description of each:

The yellow room "La Ginestra" is a large junior suite with king bed, crib corner, fireplace and private bathroom with bathtub and shower stall.

The green room "Il Pero" is a spacious junior suite with king bed, fireplace and private bathroom with bathtub and shower stall.

The bordeaux room "Il Melograno" is a large junior suite with king bed, fireplace and private bathroom with shower stall.

The blue room "La Vite" is a spacious room with one French bed and two twin beds, (can become double on request) and features a private bathroom with shower stall.

The white room "Il Mandorlo" is the master suite with a king bed, dining area, fireplace, sitting area with extra single bed (adapt for children only) and private bath with bathtub and shower stall.
