Traditional Tuscan villa near Lucca

Exterior

Il Bosco is a traditional Tuscan villa for 10 people positioned at the top of a hill looking over the rolling hills and the nearby town of Lucca.

The property is composed of two dwelling units and has beautiful gardens and a private panoramic swimming pool along with pleasant shaded seating and dining areas and an authentic pizza oven and barbecue.

Both white and red wines, an excellent certified organic extra virgin olive oil and honey are all produced on the estate, which also has various types of farmyard animals. There is even a riding stables on site, exploring your surroundings on horseback can be lots of fun for people of all ages. 

Lucca´s historical centre is conveniently just a few km away, ideal for cultural excursions as well as for meals out.

Interior

il Bosco can comfortably host eight guests, with four bedrooms in the main house and one large bedroom in the restored barn.

The Main House:

The main reception room is spacious but cozy featuring a charming wooden beamed ceiling, like the rest of the house, and a fireplace. There are comfortable sofas and a satellite television with DVD player for relaxing evenings in.

There is an open plan kitchen-dining room with a table for 10 guests and all you could need for convenient self-catering and more including a 6-burner range and gas oven, dishwasher, microwave and ice maker.

Leading off the hallway there is a utility room with a washer, dryer, linen storage and ironing facilities. The ground floor is completed by a small double bedroom and a guest bathroom with shower.

Continuing upstairs are three air conditioned double bedrooms with light, attractive en suite bathrooms. All the bedrooms are pleasantly furnished and decorated, and one has twin beds while the others have doubles.

The Barn:

The second unit is a tastefully restored barn which has been converted into a cozy annex.

On the ground floor there is a large living room that faces a beautiful garden. The living room communicates with a small but fully equipped kitchen as well as leading out to the covered terrace. Upstairs is the one double bedroom and its en suite.

This property is an excellent choice for a family holiday in Tuscany with something for everyone from relaxing by your private pool, to cultural exploration of the wider area or sporting and recreational activities organized by the staff on the estate.
