Small conferences, work meetings, events, tastings and of course, weddings, can be organized in the unique setting of the il Rinascimento monastery.
The grand reception rooms restored to their original splendour, can be set up according to guests´ requests: the Refectory room, the elegant Chapter room, the Saint’s room and the ancient Cellar.
Il Rinascimento is completely surrounded by walls to give the utmost privacy and the feeling of being in your own magical world away from distractions and worries.
Staff have devoted great attention to providing the best local artisans, event planners and wedding and tourist planners to create a beautiful, truly special day for all future newlyweds. All logistics and paperwork down to the final detail will be dealt with for you so you don´t have to worry about a thing.
The cloister, characterized by the elegant Ionic columns of the fifteenth century, is the heart of Il Rinascimento and connects the open spaces of the garden to the inner ones of the Chapter room and Refectory rooms. The cloister can host up to 150 people seating and 200 people standing and thus is ideal for large reception events.
The monastery´s exquisite gardens, filled with old fruit trees and fragrant plants are the ideal place to organize an aperitif in summer, or simply to relax in the quiet of nature.
Mount Amiata forms the background to the beautiful estate, an exquisite sight, especially at sunset, and you might like to take a romantic walk in the woods at its foot.
Should you wish to go further afield the monastery is well located to explore the region. There are several ancient medieval villages which are most charming: Piancastagnaio, Santa Fiora, Castel del Piano and Seggiano to name a few, along with the famous art cities: Arezzo, Siena, Montepulciano, Perugia and Orvieto for example, all at a manageable distance.
Guided tours around the estate can be organized, as can gastronomic tours of farms where wine, oil, cold cuts and cheeses are produced. You may like to rent a vintage car or stay active by renting a bike, going horse-riding or playing tennis.
Interior
Inside the main buildings guests will find a range of unique rooms, elegantly furnished, all equipped with a private bathroom with shower, and little details that give the feeling of being an old Franciscan home.
Guests can choose to stay in the dependences in the heart of the medieval garden, or might prefer the comfortable suites, the largest rooms of the house which were originally the library, infirmary and the office. The standard rooms face onto the long corridor at the end of which is a small window looking right into the neighbouring church.
Although these rooms are simple in style, every detail has been considered to provide guests with comfort and convenience.
Each room has internet connection and a telephone. There is also internet connection and a printer at the reception.
A buffet-style breakfast is included in the room rates.
