Seaside Poggio is the perfect base for exploring the Southern portion of Tuscany. Set to command the height of a hill, it offers 11 gorgeous suites filled with olive-green furniture, driftwood and botanical prints on whitewashed walls sit within a magical garden overlooking vines, forest and the sparkling Mediterranean sea and its islands.
 
Lavender and rosemary scent the air and birds abound around the lush flowers. A canopy of pines and palms, the immaculate lawn, pink roses on pergolas and a fantastic pool sketch this fantastic location for your imagination. Moreover, the restaurant at Seaside Poggio is excellent.

Seaside Poggio is perfect for couples thanks to its tranquil, secluded setting, the spectacular views from the Royal Suites, the terrace and numerous quiet corners of the garden. The food is fabulous and the ambient elegant but laidback, while the stunning Mediterranean garden filled with flowers and an idyllic pool tops it all off.
Children aged below 14 are not allowed as Seaside Poggio is meant for couples and dedicated to peaceful relaxation in nature.
All the suites at Seaside Poggio are spacious and beautifully decorated. The renovation is very recent and the decor is still very fresh. Thanks to the careful styling the effect is rather timeless: its rural roots are loyal to the past, yet all is simple and contemporary. Fussy fabrics are kept to a minimum, while pieces of driftwood and antique furniture convey the right atmosphere. Wooden shutters shade the rooms and fresh flowers scent the air.

Interiors 

The 11 suites are located between 3 buildings. The main house accommodates 2 Junior Suites, 2 Suites and 2 Superior Suites. Adjacent to the house are 3 Garden Suites, and at the bottom of the garden are the 2 Royal Suites. You are going to love the Garden Suites with their patios and small garden area filled with flowers, sun beds, and garden furniture to relax. One of them has a sea view from the patio, while another has a more private garden. Each Garden Suite and Royal Suite has a concealed kitchenette within a painted wooden cabinet. Perfect for quick lunches it offers all utensils. The suites in the main house lack outdoor space (one has a very small balcony), therefore priced lower.

All the spacious bathrooms are spectacular with large walk-in showers, double sinks, lots of glass and classy tiles, in addition to very stylish fittings.

Breakfast is a buffet, served in the restaurant, and you can eat there, out on the terrace or take your plate into the garden or back to your room. There are homemade cakes and pastries, plenty of fresh fruits, juices, yoghurts and plump tomatoes with ham and cheese that you can drizzle liberally with the fantastic olive oil made from the trees next to the hotel.

The beach is just a stroll away at 4 kilometers through the pinewood. All sorts of watersports are available and can be arranged for you. Golfing is 20 minutes away, vineyard visits and a driver can be arranged at ease. Hiking around the hotel is superb in itself, in addition you have the majestic Elba Island just 45 minutes by ferry, fantastic even if for just one day.
