Exterior

Villa Scanna is a stylish and relaxing retreat in Tuscany, set amidst an enchanting landscape of vineyards in gardens of red and white roses and silvery olive trees.

Surrounded by rolling hills, the house is private and rural looking out onto the Valdichiana and Cortona in the distance, and within easy reach of the many famous art cities in the region- Siena, Arezzo, Florence and Perugia to name a few.

The infinity pool and deck with sun loungers and umbrellas is the perfect spot for relaxing days. Likewise, imagine yourself in the shade of the gazebo enjoying a meal al fresco in good company, or simply soaking up your surroundings taking in a spectacular sunset.

As the villa is set within an estate, guests will be met by a team of attentive staff, ready to assist in planning daily excursions, making reservations and organizing a whole host of activities from horse-riding to antique car rental, massage and yoga, and even the unique experience of a hot air balloon trip. You´ll also be spoilt on arrival with a welcome basket full of Tuscan specialties.

Interior

Villa Scanna was decorated by a notable designer and the atmosphere of informal luxury reveals an expert´s hands. The chic contemporary styling offers a lovely alternative to the traditional ´rustic´ Tuscan villas all over the region and will appeal to a different type of holiday-maker.

The villa´s living room is open-plan with a fresh look. You might like to relax in the cool indoors or have a cozy evening in watching a DVD. The second half of this room is devoted to the dining area with a large table and French doors leading out onto the garden. There are also two bedrooms on this floor, one with a double bed and one with a sofa bed. These share a bathroom.

Upstairs are the further three bedrooms and their en suites. These are all finely decorated with quality fabrics and furnishings in soothing neutrals and pastel tones. While these are slightly more classic the bathrooms are striking and modern.
