Located on the summit of the highest hill of a wonderful estate, Villa del Duca dominates unforgettable views of the Lucchesia and the surrounding mountains. This villa is ideal for large groups of people. Originally conceived in the Nineteenth century, the villa has undergone a painstaking preservation process throughout the years, which has maintained the original splendor of the entire structure and has allowed the introduction of modern amenities without altering the original harmony of each internal and external environment.

The main body of the villa is set amidst a perfectly kept Italian garden. The vast estate around Villa del Duca also includes the original and still functioning oil press built in 1850, a lovely frescoed chapel, terraced hills covered with olive groves, and a horse riding center. The sight from the villa is a composition of classic Tuscan countryside portraits. The eye gazes at the olive groves covering the hills and continues to the impressive roman-style, brick-and-stone aqueduct, and ends on the line of cypress trees defining the road that from this unique villa in Tuscany takes to the gates of the estate and the horse riding center.
 
 
The vast space around Villa del Duca is entirely at disposition of the guests, who can discover it walking, biking, or horse back riding. The interiors of the villa are all beautifully furnished with elegance and fine garments. Frescoed ceilings, wall hand-painted decorations and intersections of interior and exterior architectonical elements donate a superb elegance to the environment and convey to the observer a feeling of idyllic peace. Pillars and arches lead from the entrance to the second floor and third. Here guests can find all eleven bedrooms capable of accommodating large groups in Tuscany of up to 22 people. Each bedroom features breathtaking views of the surrounding Tuscan countryside.
 
 
The weekly rental includes the staff composed of: three housekeepers, who carry out housekeeping duties and prepare a continental breakfast and lunch or dinner six days per week; a chef available for lunch or dinner six days per week; a gardener that takes care of the floodlit swimming pool and the garden.

Villa del Duca is divided on three floors:
                   

The ground floor includes the semi-professional fully equipped kitchen, the astonishing formal dining room, a relaxing lounge salon with comfortable armchairs and a beautiful fireplace, the television room with sat TV, an office room with fax, fast broadband Internet access, computer, and central music system. In addition, two full bathrooms and access to the loggia opening on the garden in the rear of the villa.
                   

The first floor includes six large lush bedrooms, one of which with two twin beds and five with king size beds. Each one features an en-suite bathroom with shower and bathtub. In addition, an exceptional inner salon furnished with armchairs, sofas, satellite TV, for an overall environment that conveys relaxation and serenity.
                   

The second floor includes five pampered king-size bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms with shower and bathtub. One of the bedrooms is a Five Star Superior room featuring a large walk-in dressing room.
