Exclusive villa for ten in village just outside Lucca

Villa Girasole lies in a charming little village in the region of Tuscany, known for its mild climate, warm hospitality, and of course, its delicious food, wine and olive oil. Just ten minutes away from medieval Lucca, twenty from Pisa and with Italy´s beautiful beaches also not far away, this traditional villa´s fabulous location allows its guests to easily explore the numerous sites in the area.

Going out into the lush gardens is a real assailment on the senses with delicious scents from the potted lemons, olive trees, pines, camellias, wisteria, roses, lavender, rosemary and fruit trees, all forming a splendid backdrop to the large swimming pool and panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and mountains. Sun beds are provided for relaxation by the pool and a gazebo and pergola offer shady spots perfect for dining al fresco.

Interior

The villa can host a maximum of 10 + 3 guests if the coach house is included.

Simplicity and serenity is the predominant feeling here. Even if the mill is no longer in action the ancient character is still very much present, especially with the villa´s authentic materials: stones, hand-made bricks, timber-beamed ceilings, and terracotta floors and the period furniture.

On the upper floor of the villa are five double bedrooms, each with their own private bathroom. Three rooms face the valley and hills and two look southwards over the beautiful garden. One of the five bedrooms is a large master suite with a living room.

Downstairs is a comfortable family room with satellite television, small bathroom, a study with a desk and computer connecting to the internet, fax machine and telephone, a welcoming Tuscan country-style kitchen seating up to eight, adjacent to the separate dining room with a large table which can seat up to twelve. Attention has been paid to the finest details in order to make this villa a place of luxury but with a genuine warmth and intimate feel.

The coach-house next to the main villa is available on request at an extra charge and is a fabulous addition to the property. This accommodates a further three guests and has two bedrooms, a double and a single and its own bathroom, making it an ideal extra for particularly large groups.

The villa also disposes of a maid (6 days a week), gardener, and cook on request. The owners of the property are always available to give any assistance to guests since they live right by the villa. 

This traditional villa would make superb holiday accommodation for large groups or families in search of a haven of tranquility with a warm, friendly atmosphere.
