Villa Grifone is located right between Siena and Arezzo, in the celebrated Chianti region of Tuscany. This wonderful location allows for easy day trips to almost all the main Tuscan cities and towns, within an hour´s drive from the villa. 

Formerly the residence of the farmers that worked the beautiful land around the villa, Villa Grifone was built in the early 1700s and completely renovated a few years ago. All the traditional rustic elements have been kept and restored, skillfully combined with modern amenities to create a very pleasant atmosphere.

Villa Grifone's exteriors are characterized by a wonderful central courtyard around which the rooms are based, a huge 14,000sqm fenced park of secular trees and adorned with statues. There is also of course a swimming pool (6x12m). In addition to sun beds the pool area is equipped with a barbecue and table and chairs for up to 22 people; a wonderful setting to enjoy unforgettable al fresco meals.

Interior
 
The indoors of Villa Grifone are just as wonderful as its grounds. Rich fabrics, authentic antique Tuscan furniture, wooden beamed ceilings, cotto floors and original brick-vaulted ceilings lend plenty of character.

The villa can accommodate up to 22 people with 9 bedrooms and 7 complete bathrooms. Each bathroom features a hydro massage shower or a Jacuzzi bathtub. All bedrooms have Wi-Fi Internet access and an LCD satellite television. (4 king-size bedrooms, 5 twin bedrooms)

Further to the bedrooms and bathrooms there is a lovely large living room with a comfortable sofa bed should you need to accommodate any further guests, a focal fireplace and views over the park and pool.  Under an open archway you will find the spacious dining room which easily seats up to 22. There is a kitchen, fully-equipped with all necessary equipment for self catering, including a microwave and dishwasher, and the villa also has a washing machine and dryer at guests´ disposition.

A few steps from the main body of the villa is a romantic annexe for two  with its own kitchen-dining room,  a sofa bed and LCD satellite television, in addition to a twin bedroom (can become a king-sized bedroom) with en suite bathroom with Jacuzzi bathtub.
 
The rental, among other services, includes 3 hours of housekeeping 5 days a week.
