Gorgeous setting, with wonderful views, especially to the west over towards Pienza and the Val D'Orcia. Giorgio and Ilaria were helpfulness personified, and Giorgio used his contacts to obtain for us a hire car at surprisingly reasonable rates, which meant we were not so isolated and could visit all sorts of places. My wife would have been happy to spend all her time by the two swimming pools or walking the extensive grounds, soaking up the atmosphere and enjoying the wildlife and flowers. Excellent meal at the restaurant on our last evening - cucina Toscana, at least we liked to think it was! A peaceful, picturesque and enjoyable place to stay, warmly recommended!

We were very impressed with the enchanting villa la casetta that we stayed in.
Ilarie was very very helpful at all times and made our stay even more enjoyable. Giorgio dinner was lovely and he is a very personable fellow. Just a suggestion to let people know that a car is required unless you want to stay the whole time at the property. Otherwise it is what the postcards and the movies show you. If you are very lucky you may see fireflys at night - very magical.
