EXTERIORS

Casa Montaione is a marvelous XIX century house in the heart of Tuscany. It has been restored following its original structure and with great attention to bio compatibility. This cozy rural house for eight people in Tuscany is set amidst 500 hectares and perched on a hilltop, commanding a breathtaking panoramic view. The beautiful Tuscan countryside has its own way of stirring the senses, and you will discover this while back stroking in the private swimming pool; or when relaxing under our roofed verandah, enchanted by a the surrounding landscape embracing the lake and the barbecue area.

Half of the land of the estate is cultivated and grazing fields; it is home to the farm, whose main activities are breeding Chianine cows and growing wheat. (The farm received its organic farming certification in 1992.) The other half of the land is covered by a superb old wood rooted in volcanic rock. The land boasts of spectacular walls of rock and various tree species. It not only provides shelter to the miscellaneous woodland fauna, but it also treasures a reserve of rare white truffles.  

Guests seeking cultural tours can visit Siena, Pisa, Florence, or the nearby towns of Volterra and San Gimignano. Our most attentive staff will be delighted to help you plan your itineraries. The estate offers plenty of truffle hunting; fly fishing, bird watching and hiking. Nearby the villa you will find golf courses, stables and thermal baths.  

INTERIORS

This house for rent in Tuscany has 315  square meters and can accommodate up to 8+2 people. It has been built with bricks produced by the very own property and reusing original materials. The special choice of colors and light make of the farmhouse a most cozy and welcoming place to stay. The villa is only one floor, but enjoys different levels.  

The house for eight in Tuscany has been provided with a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher. A spacious living room with a romantic fire place seduces you to enjoy a superb glass of Italian wine in the most delicious company. The villa offers a comfortable reading and film room, ideal for relaxation. It has a toilet, four traditionally furnished double bedrooms, big enough for additional beds, if requested; and 2 bathrooms one with a tub and the other with a shower.

This charming accommodation welcomes well behaved animals, so the good news is you can bring your beloved pet along with you! Upon request cooking lessons and Tuscan dinners can be held in the house.

- Force Majeure

Force Majeure is considered as being any event or circumstance which is not subject to the control of either party or any other contingency that cannot be foreseen, or, if it were foreseeable, is unavoidable according to the conditions and Case Law of Article 1.105 of the Civil Code. If the service of the current contract is interrupted through Force Majeure, this obligation shall be postponed for the time and duration that is deemed justifiable.

- Communications

DIVINO VILLAS is allowed to send the user its Communications either by e-mail or land mail; likewise, the users will be able to direct their Communications to the website by land mail to DIVINO VILLAS, C/ Girona 53, ent , 08009 Barcelona. Or via the website at relations@divinovillas.com

- Applicable jurisdiction

Both parties, expressly waiving their own jurisdiction, if possible, submit their case to the Courts and Tribunals of Barcelona. The applicable Law shall be that of the Spanish Legal System.
