Our accommodation was a big old farm house on an agritourism property. It was a great place, rustic with big fire places etc. Had an issue with mice the last few days, but to be expected on a farm property. Views were stunning, and we were able to enjoy the property with walks and organized truffle hunting etc. The one problem which we gave the managers feedback about was that unfortunately there was extensive hunting going on on the property, at times right near our house, as it was the start of the hunting season a few days after we arrived. We found this pretty intrusive, particularly actually seeing the dead animals at on point. As animal lovers, we found this difficult. We think it would be good to advise about hunting seasons on the website or in an email, so people can avoid these times if they wish. Otherwise, a wonderful time in a rustic beautiful place.
