Exterior

This restored 13th century castle, a real fairy-tale image, can be found in the Chianti region of Tuscany between the historical towns of San Miniato and San Gimignano.

Standing atop a hill it has sweeping views of the estate´s 120 hectares of vineyards, olive groves, forests and fields carpeted with sunflowers.

In front of the villa are perfectly manicured lawns and of course a swimming pool, down a few steps and surrounded by an elegant arcaded loggia. The beautiful terrace at on the villa´s level is a lovely spot for al fresco dining and has a barbecue for fun-filled meals.

An attractive summer house is also near to the pool. This has been renovated to form a pleasant lounge with day beds and huge arched windows, a cool refuge from the never-ending sun. This building also has a roof terrace from where breathtaking views can be enjoyed.

The charming chapel on the premises cannot be forgotten. The villa, its grounds and other accommodation available provide all the facilities you could wish for to make your wedding and reception truly magical.

Interior

This 500 sq-m luxury villa in Chianti comfortably accommodates up to 12 guests in 6 air-conditioned bedrooms each with their own en suite.

On entering this luxury villa you will find an elegant living room with smart sofas around a focal fireplace and fine furnishings and décor. The library-study and grand dining room are decorated in a similar graceful manner, also with open fireplaces and charming Tuscan features such as the beamed or vaulted ceilings. The dining room has French doors which allow the light to flood in and which lead onto the courtyard.

The kitchen is very large, fully-fitted to meet all your self-catering needs, although a local cook can also be hired. Another dining area here is suitable for more informal meals or breakfast.

One of the bedrooms is situated on the ground floor along with its bathroom fitted with a Jacuzzi tub.

Continuing upstairs there are four more bedrooms, two further double rooms and one twin bedded room. The master bedroom is particularly impressive, featuring a fireplace and private balcony.

Finally, the tower houses the last bedroom, a very intimate setting, well-suited to romantic couples or honeymooners; it is a suite with a living room, bathroom and terrace, offering those same splendid views of the rolling hills.
