Exterior

This delightful farmhouse is situated just 25km north of Florence in the heart of Tuscany, among the beautiful hills of the Mugello valley. Wine production on the estate has been documented since 1465 and planting and harvesting on site is still taking place today.

As well as enjoying the villa, pool and grounds, there are various places nearby you might like to visit: just 2km away is an old small town with all kinds of shops and restaurants and a train station for Florence with car parking. There is also the large fitness centre and spa with a huge range of facilities and treatments on offer. 5km from the villa is an international championship 18 hole golf course and F1 Ferrari and Moto Grand Prix test centre.

You are also sure to enjoy the beautiful lake of over 500 hectares be it for sailing, canoeing, surfing or simply relaxing on the beaches or in the bars and cafés there. A short distance further away from the villa you will find a shopping outlet centre. This has been designed like a real little Renaissance village and has more than 100 famous brand name shops offering clothing, shoes, sports equipment and accessories at discounted prices.
 

Interior

Villa Quadrifoglio gives guests the opportunity to stay in an historical farmhouse but which has been recently renovated with all modern comforts. The building was originally used to store and dry hay and has now been converted into a large space of over 230m² surrounded by extensive, well maintained gardens of 3000m².

The lovely covered terrace is the ideal spot for meals in the open air and looks over the large swimming pool for the exclusive use of guests staying at the villa.

The house is laid out over two levels. On the ground floor you will find a spacious living room furnished with pretty sofas around an elegant fireplace and a wide-screen satellite television and DVD player.

The kitchen is a lovely open plan room combined with the dining area. It has kept all its charming original features like the terracotta flooring, high ceilings with beams, and solid wooden furniture, but the property owners have skillfully introduced modern amenities for guests´ convenience. There is a five gas-burner hob, electric oven, dishwasher, large fridge-freezer, and of course, all the crockery and utensils you might need to whip up your holiday meals. A separate utility room houses a washing machine, dryer and iron and ironing board. Also on this floor are a cloakroom and a guest w/c.

Continuing upstairs, there are the four bedrooms, two of which are twins and two have double beds. They are all traditional in style in neutral colours with attractive accent fabrics and each have their own bath or shower room.

On request, two further double bedrooms and two bathrooms (one with shower and one with bathtub) are available. These are situated on the ground floor of the adjacent property and have an independent private entrance on the side of the garden that faces the pool.  

Further facilities at guests´ disposition are air conditioning throughout, a cot for babies, Wi-Fi internet access and private, covered parking. Household help is at an extra cost.
