Villa Montespertoli has belonged for more than 300 years to the owners family, and  it was the summer residence of the last prime minister of Tuscany before Italy became independent from Austria in 1861.

The garden,a real masterpiece, was designed (the north part) by the same architect who designed the gardens of the Pitti Palace in Florence, and the south side is a formal and classical Italian garden.

Guests will be able to enjoy the beauty of this spot and enjoy an unforgettable atmosphere of peace and silence surrounded by the most wonderful plants and flowers.

The Villa has a private panoramic swimming pool located in the olive grove besides the gardens, and it is the perfect place to have a rest after daytrips exploring the Chianti area and visiting important cities such as Florence (33km), San Gimignano (30km), Siena (54km) or Lucca (72km.).

In the area there are also several famous wineries as Poppiano, Sonnino, Montespertoli, Il Corno and San Pancrazio, and the Renaissance church of Sant'Andrea in Montespertoli.

Interiors

The Villa has been carefully restored, preserving all the charming of its historical past together with every modern comforts and facilities. 

This charming Tuscan Villa has two apartments to be rented together for larger groups or individually for groups of 7+1 and 4 people.

The main apartments is located on the first floor and has it own entrance on the north and south gardens, the second apartment is located on the second floor of the Villa, and it has also it own entrance overlooking the south garden. Each apartament has its own garden area with deck chairs and umbrellas.

The owners live in a separate apartment of the Villa and they will be delighted to offer their assistance to arrange trips to local wineries, to suggest the best itineraries in the area, and they will make their best to make of your stay an unforgettable Tuscan Holiday.
