Borgo Brunello is a splendid wine estate which has been running for 50 years in southern Tuscany but has recently (2011) opened an exclusive selection of stylish holiday apartments.
Perfectly quiet, the apartments are set within grounds of 1 hectare including 2 large salt-water swimming pools and plenty of private areas so you can enjoy time just with your family or friends. The estate also forms a part of the Val d´Orcia National Park protected by UNESCO. This privileged position makes it ideal for trekking among the Montalcino vineyards or for pleasant bike rides.
Nevertheless, the town centre of Montalcino is only 3km away, a charming historic hill town with interesting cultural sites, excellent restaurants and wine shops.
Interior
There are 5 apartments in total, 3 bedrooms, 2 bedrooms and the rather special one bedroom honeymoon suite. All are simply and tastefully decorated with top quality furnishings and fabrics for the ultimate comfort and a contemporary-country style. You´ll find all the latest amenities at your disposal including a fully-fitted kitchen, LCD televisions in both the living rooms and each bedroom, air conditioning, minibar and more…
Borgo Brunello offers a range of additional services from which you can choose to suit varying preferences and make your holiday exactly what you want it to be. You can enjoy breakfast in the breakfast room or have it brought to your apartment, go for half or full board which comes complete with a voucher to dine in one of the best Montalcino restaurants, request daily cleaning etc.
There´s certainly something for everyone here: small families or couples on a romantic getaway will relish the calm surroundings and independence, culture vultures and wine fans the proximity to Montalcino, and outdoors types the beautiful landscape and sporting and recreational possibilities.

We had a fantastic stay at the borgo. The accommodation has a great view, a very nice pool and is beautifully decorated. The owners were very helpful during the stay, and the location is perfect for exploring the area.
A beautiful place in its first season so certain routines needed to be set. I would happily go back again. The host is very accommodating to requests. Their wine is excellent. Location great. The price is high.
