Exteriors

This enchanting villa near Cortona dates back to the 15th century and is situated on the border between Tuscany and Umbria. Wonderful Cortona, whose silhouette can be seen from the house, is only 5 minutes away; and Lake Trasimeno is only 15 minutes away by car.

Its surrounding hills are perfect to be explored on foot or by bike on sunny days. The closest airport is Perugia's, 60 km away. Other beautiful Tuscan cities can be reached after a very short drive; Florence, Assisi, Siena and Arezzo are some of them.

Three independent terraces were created to ensure privacy and comfort. Two footpaths lead from two of the terraces to the beautiful pool which lies amidst olive and oak trees.
The swimming pool is 5x10 and was built into one of the olive orchard terraces looking over the Chiana Valley, and it is the perfect spot to enjoy unforgettable sunsets.

Barbeque at complete disposal of the guests, plus wood-burning oven ideal for Pizza-making.

Interiors

During the restoration work of this enchanting villa near Cortona, the traditional construction was preserved and fused with modern-life comfort. Wooden beams and ceiling tiles date back to the origins of the Villa. The ceilings on the top floor are up to six meters high and provide a pleasant natural coolness in Summer. Both floors allow a spectacular view on the surrounding hills and the Chiana Valley.

On the ground floor, there is one living-dining room with a kitchen section, one master bedroom with a double bed, one twin bedroom, a bathroom with a wash basin, shower cabin, wc and bidet, and one independent extra double room with en-suite bathroom.

The first floor features one living-dining room with a table for 12 people and a large fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing-machine, a bathroom equipped with shower, bathtub and bidet, and a master-bedroom with dressing area.

On the second floor, guests can enjoy a third living-room with satellite TV, a bathroom equipped with shower, another bathroom with bathtub and shower, WC and bidet, a master bedroom with double bed and a bedroom with twin beds.

Two washing machines are at guests' disposal.
