Tower of Chianti is a lovely country hotel in Tuscany that used to be the defense tower of the hamlet and the quarters of the people living around the castle. A masterful work of restauration has brought this unique structure back to splendour.

It is now presented to you as a welcoming bed and breakfast with four finely furnished bedrooms and modern comforts and services.

At Tower of Chianti you are in the heart of Chianti, right between Siena and Florence.

The landscape around this country hotel is the Tuscan line of hills that world-renown frescoes from the Reinessance have made famous and continues all the way to contemporary photographs of Chianti.

Here the eye can endlessly gaze at what centuries of wise land cultivation and woodland combing have shaped in the form of olive tree gardens, cultivated fields and vineyards, so famous for their production of excellent Chianti wine.

The park within which the Tower of Chianti stands is the finest portion the land all around. The trees, lush flowers and all plants adorn the  paths in the garden of the hotel, while lavander and rosemary fill the air with their scent.

The relax area and the swimming pool are shared with the apartments at Chianti Hamlet.

Interiors

The unusually humble width of the hotel entrance is perfect to hide the precious combination of tasteful interior design and comfortable rustic furniture that distinguish Tower of Chianti.

Precious fabrics, pastel colors, soft hues, original antique furniture, and still working ancient fireplaces warm up each corner of the structure and make the ambient so homely that you will immediately feel comfortable.

The cozy reception leaves the scene to the main hall with fireplace and comfortable sofa in front of the fireplace. From here the ground floor continues on to the intimate and elegant dining room. Here breakfast is served each morning and dinners are on request.

On the ground floor  is the first of the four bedrooms of Tower of Chianti. The other three rooms are on the first floor of the building. The two floors are connected through a white travertine marble staircase.

Each bedroom has ensuite bathroom, minibar, telephone, Internet connection, air conditioning, satellite tv and hairdryer. One room has a bathroom with Jacuzzi, while another room is a well appointed suite with two bedrooms on two floors.
