Located on a hilltop the hamlet dominates the Chianti hills and the ancient Chiantigiana road that in the middle ages were used to connect Florence to Siena. The countryside around the hamlet is incredible: olives trees, vineyards and beautiful nature will make the visitor feeling lost in an authentic Tuscan paradise. The Hamlet still keeps its medieval aspect, with its fortified stone houses, its old cellars and the watch towers. In the Hamlet there is also a Romanic church whose bell tower was acting as a light house to show to middle ages travelers the Chiantigiana way. To enjoy the pleasant and quiet moments in the middle of a beautiful green garden there is a panoramic swimming pool and lounge chairs and umbrellas. From the swimming pool guests will enjoy breathtaking views of the Chianti landscape. A barbecue area is also available to guests. Castellina Hamlet is surely one of the best accommodation in Chianti where it is possible to enjoy the nature, to try the authentic taste of Tuscan cuisine and wine and olive oil from the Chianti region.

Interiors

The Hamlet has been totally renovated few years ago and divided into 14 charming apartments with beautiful views of the Tuscan Countryside.  All the apartments have been carefully renovated with original Tuscan design and materials like the marvelous pitched roof, with exposed beams and trusses. All the apartments welcome with a warm and inviting atmosphere.  The apartments of the Hamlet are housed on the old manor house, the farm-house, the barn and the school of the old village.The accommodations have been carefully designed to ensure the privacy and the comfort of the clients. A meeting room for maximum 30 people, a reception, a cellar, a restaurant and an Internet point are some of the other services that are available to guests.
