Il Giardino is an 18th century beautifully restored farmhouse with a fabulous position on top of a hill overlooking the historic city of Siena. Guests staying here are able to enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the Tuscan countryside whilst being conveniently located just 3kms from the centre of Siena.

The property boasts a beautiful outdoor area with a magnificent infinity pool looking over the city and olive and fruit trees emanating their delightful fragrance.
For special occasions, in particular weddings, it is possible to rent the adjacent villa which has room for up to 11 additional guests.

Furthermore, upon request, wine and regional food tasting can be arranged in nearby cellars or farm houses. The helpful staff can also help you in booking theatre tickets, making dinner reservations and other recommendations. Day trips to Florence, Volterra, Pisa, San Gimignano as well as other major towns in the area, as well as excursions to nearby outlets of some of the most prestigious Italian fashion designers- Armani, Ferragamo, Gucci and Prada to name a few, with professional guides and leaving directly from the villa, can easily be organized if you should wish. You might also like to have some Italian cooking classes.

Interior

The villa offers six guest rooms, doubles and twins, all with LCD television, air conditioning, hair dryer, daily maid service, and, of course, their own en suite bathroom with a shower (one has both a bathtub and a shower).

Their refurbishment by a professional designer is certainly apparent: the original high ceilings with wooden beams painted white look lovely with the carefully chosen pastel coloured walls and upholstery and lend a very calming atmosphere. 

Breakfast is served daily on the outdoor terrace or if preferred it can be taken indoors in the shared kitchen. The various communal areas in the villa provide plenty of opportunities for relaxing and an intimate environment.

Villa Giardino is highly recommended for those looking to see the cultural Siena but who would prefer a tranquil, rural location to a hotel or apartment in the city centre.
