Charming apartments in rural Tuscany

Exterior

Strategically located in the centre of the Valdorcia, Tuscany, Villa Emma is an ancient farmhouse from the 1700s. From the property you can easily reach the many historical and cultural towns in the area including Pienza, S.Quiricio D´Orcia, Montichiello and Montepulciano, and Siena is also within a manageable distance just 40km away.

Perfectly maintained grounds are full of colourful flowers, bushes, lawns and varieties of trees. A lovely swimming pool and solarium seamlessly integrated into the landscape are accompanied by a ping-pong table, Jacuzzi and children´s climbing frame.

There is a pleasant shared terrace equipped with a barbeque, traditional wood-burning pizza oven and table and chairs where guests can enjoy al fresco meals and admire the rolling hills, distant mountains and the estate´s large lake (where fishing is permitted).

Also in the grounds a bio-pool has been developed where guests can swim in the fresh water, free from chemicals. Instead the pool is kept clean by the wetland plants and natural oxygenation process.  

Interior

A recent restoration of the structure has ensured to preserve the traditional features and atmosphere whilst creating 7 lovely apartments with all modern amenities.

They can accommodate parties of varying sizes from couples to groups of up to 8 with pretty bedrooms and bathrooms, spacious living-dining rooms and fully-equipped kitchenettes to meet all your self-catering needs. Some of the apartments even have pleasant terraces with seating so you can relax outdoors in complete privacy.

Four of the apartments can be found in the main house and three in the old barns. All share the outdoor facilities already mentioned as well as a central common room with another television.

The estate is perfectly designed to be able to host special events including wedding ceremonies and receptions for up to 250 people, or more intimate parties. The villa´s staff  can be trusted to organize everything down to the finest detail for you.
